Hey,

I'm planning on setting up a small homerecording studio. So with that I installed Cubase 5 and EZdrummer.
So I have some songs written in Guitar Pro and I thought it would be easy to use the MIDI-file of the songs to create drum- & synth tracks in Cubase wich is possible.
But I wanted to take the drumstracks to a next level and run them trough EZD.

There's the problem. I can upload my MIDI drumtrack to EZD and get them to be played well. I am able to create multipletracks in Cubase and stuff. But the problem is that the MIDI file can only be playbacked whitin EZD but in my tracks in Cubase there are no notes or anything visible.

So is there a way to put the midifile from EZD to the seperate tracks in Cubase.

Here's an example of what I'm trying to do:

Create a VSTi track in cubase, add EZDrummer to it, load MIDI file onto that track.

It's that simple.

In some way it doesn't seem to work. In the mixer i have al the tracks butt still the midi-drumtrack is beeing played on the single instrument track

Yuh, it'll do that unless you route the outputs of the vsti to the other tracks.
