Jim Martin of Faith No More * Guitar

Did Jim Martin EVER play a Stratocaster or Super Strat
with only one pickup ~ "H" Seymour Duncan Live Wire Humbucker?

I know of this guitar that the builder claims to be similarly copied
to Jim Martin's guitar.

* One Live Wire Pickup at the bridge position
* Scalloped Fretboard mostly past the tenth fret (I think)
* Stratocaster Body & Neck
* Active Electronics with Two 9v Battery Bays to power the Live Wire H
* Locking Nut
* Locking String Saddles

Does this setup seem familiar to anyone? Any potential problems?

Did Jim Martin of Faith No More play a similar guitar?
Read that he played Flying V's, but just saw a video with the
above described Strat with one H at the bridge.

Thanks ahead of time.

So you saw him playing one, and you're asking if he EVER played one?

I'm glad you're back to normal, Toppscore, even if you make no sense.

Interesting. I could only make out a single pickup ~ not guitar
make or model. Could have been a Gibson Reverse Firebird.
Could have been Crystal Meth Phil with more wild hair & a longer beard
doing his famous Mepha Jim Martin impersonation.

Meth-head Phil ~ show a bit of joy around this forum.
Typical negative personality. I am sure it is just me.
I am sure you are Mister Perfect Joy elsewhere.

Sad you are back to normal MethHeadPill

I have no doubt that he owns several guitars; using some more than others. I did read somewhere that he owns a 1979 Fender Stratocaster, but no further details were given.

Thanks, Fatal.
I could not locate much info about Jim Martin's guitars.
Love his tones and sounds.
I am getting that guitar. It's very cool and sounds awesome.
Once I test and do a full setup, I'll post photos.
