So I recently bought a VMNT from GC. Seeing as how a new one goes for more than $500 I bought a used one online. I was told that the guitar was in pretty much mint condition and therefore was happy...until it arrived. The wings on both sides were chipped, with one side just being completely torn off. Seeing as how I can't get another deal like this, I have decided to keep the guitar. However the super sized dents on it makes me want to reconstruct the wing and paint it so that it isn't too obvious. I have never reconstructed (or constructed) a guitar so how should I go about doing this?

Sure. Pictures are above. Although I have one missing piece, that still leaves a big gap underneath.
