Hey so I have a Pod XT live that i love playing through an amp, but when I play through a PA i hate. So I was wondering if i could get a cheap tube amp head, and then run my Pod through that, then into the PA. Would that work, or would there be something easier. oh and could i use just like a 5 watt head, versus a larger one? thanks in advance

No.

You'd blow the tubes in the head. You'd want to get a tube amp, then go:

Guitar -> Pod -> FX Loop In -> Cab.

There are plain old poweramps out there, where you can skip the whole complete amp entirely.

If you have a cab for the head, you'll be fine.
