I bought an old montaya lp copy and I plan on change everything out for gold hardware. But for now I would like to know if it's possible to replace the pickup screws. Because one of them is missing I have done quite a bit of searching and haven't found anything that has helped. I know that the covers are either soldered or potted in but I haven't found anything about the screws.

Thanks

Don't compromise what you want just because the other option is easier. That's how people get stuck with fat chicks.

Thanks I now know that they're called polepiece screws. But I still can't find them in gold tone I never thought it would be this difficult to switch out the covers.

it looks like the head broke off. is there an actual hole you can see or is there something in the screw hole?
