Anyone here interested or actively involved with screenwriting?
This could be a cool little place to tell each other about our projects, ask for advice, rant about terrible scripts, etc.

If it picks up enough steam and active participation, we could even do some challenges or something.

And as per Jako215's suggestion, Courier font is encouraged

Do you guys prefer writing for film or television?
I'm starting to gear up for writing my spec scripts for next year's TV Writing fellowship season and 30 minute comedies are torturous enough, I can't imagine what kind of hell a feature length film must be to write

I've actually been talking with an actor friend of mine for the past week or so about writing a political thriller. Pretty coincidental that you'd make this thread, really.

So yes, I am interested in it.

Will edit with more if when I remember them.

I'd like to but I can't think of anything and it'd never get made so it'd be pointless

That's the spirit!

Heh, motivation is my worst enemy. Deadlines usually do it for me, but if it's just a passion project then I turn out pages slower than the second half of this analogy.

If you post in this thread and it's not Courier 12 point font then you fail as screen writers.

Or you could write a screenplay about screwing. Best of both worlds.
