Could someone please help me figure out how these two arpeggios are being played? You should know them when you hear them. They start about 3 seconds into the video I've linked to. The first one sounds like a descending E major arpeggio like this:

e--------------------------------------------
B----12-------------------------------------
G----------13-------------------------------
D----------------14-------------------------
A--------------------------------------------
E--------------------------------------------

but that is cleary not the fingering Mr. McCray is using. The second is some sort of ascending arpeggio. Does anyone have any ideas?

I hear the first one is

l-------------------------------l
l----10------------------------l
l-----9-------------------------l
l----11------------------------l
l----12------------------------l

A major? I am not sure about theory but I think it's a A major.

Then

I am not sure..
but

l---9-----l
l--10----l
l--11----l
l--12----l
l----------l
l----------l

Thenn

A D major chord and E major

I think..

Could be wrong.
