I submitted a tab with wrong title and put it on hold and submitted it again with correct title. Can I or somone somehow erase the tab on hold? Correct version pending approval right now.

Triumph did a song called Street Fighter. On the two
albums it appears on, as well as a Masters Of Metal
compilation, the song is always broken up into
separate tracks. The first part is called Street Fighter
Man and the second is called Street Fighter Reprise.
I've uploaded both sections but both are listed as
simply Street Fighter Man.

This is the section entitled Street Fighter Reprise. Can it be changed?

Hey Guys,

I have an article up at the moment that is a bit racy - I accidentally submitted a previous draft and would really appreciate if you could change it for me.

Here's the link:
http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/lessons/chords/the_barre_chord_abortion_a_manifesto_make_your_acoustic_playing_sound_bada-s.html

If you could change the title from:
The Barre Chord Abortion: A Manifesto (Make Your Acoustic Playing Sound Bada-s)
To:
The Barre Chord Power Up: Increase Your Acoustic Guitar Playing Power Level to Over 9000!

and if you could do me a huge favour and change the first paragraph from this:

Remember when you first nailed a barre chord? When you first got all six strings ringing out you were delighted, but after a while, the gloss starts to wear off. It's like finally getting a date with the prettiest girl you know, only to realise three dates in she's actually CRAZY. At first, she's incredibly desirable because she seems so unattainable. You can't get her out of your head, and your heart jumps into your throat every time you smell her perfume. When you finally ask her out, she says yes, and if you died right then you'd die the happiest man on earth. When you finally get her out on a date, it's not what you thought it would be at all. Your dinner at the nice Italian restaurant ends with her drink poured over your head, because you glanced at the waitress. What should be a great night out with friends is ruined by her sulking in the corner complaining that you don't pay enough attention to her. When not complaining or pouring drinks on you, the only thing she talks about is her abusive drug addicted ex-boyfriend, who's out of jail in two weeks. She's all kinds of crazy. When you finally screw together the courage to break up with her, she drops the bomb - she's pregnant. Before you know it, you're living in a trailer park with 13 children, spending all your nights in a dive bar doing shots with a guy named Cletus because you hate your life. But I'm here to offer you a way out friend - We're going to get a barre chord abortion.
to this:

Remember when you first nailed a barre chord? When you first got all six strings ringing out you were delighted, but after a while, the gloss starts to wear off. This lesson covers a small trick to give barre chords in the key of E Major a new sound., increasing their power level to well over 9000.

The Barre Chord Power Up

I’ve split this lesson into two parts – The first part is just what the key sounds like and how to play it, and the second is the theory and how to use it.

Hello!

I want to apologize in advance for the slight convolution involved with this issue. This was my first time uploading a tab, so I was a bit confused.

I uploaded a Guitar Pro tab for Zero by Periphery, but it was an intro tab that didn't cover the whole song. I uploaded it as "Zero Misha WIP," which is not the real name, I was just stating that the tab was a work in progress (which in retrospect is kind of a confusing thing to do in this site). I didn't understand at the time that the "(ver 1)," "(ver2)," and etc., in front of a lot of the tab names were actually new tabs by different people as opposed to new iterations of the same tab, and I thought they put the version tag in front themselves. <_< I'm not sure how I overlooked that, even though I've been getting tabs from the site for years, but I did (call it poor observational skills or whatever).

Anyway, the tab got a good reception and people were asking for the finished version, so I finished tabbing out the guitars (the important parts, at least, didn't do absolutely all the background stuff), and because of the misunderstanding above, I thought I had to upload a new one. I made the same mistake as above and called it "Zero Misha V2." That tab got rejected, and at first I bitterly replied asking why, directly through e-mail, which thankfully didn't go through (because I guess that e-mail is only used for sending automated messages), but then I thought it might be because of the "v2" in the name, and the tabbing guide here confirmed that, and that's when I understood the version tag is put in there automatically, while still not getting that they are different tabs.

I uploaded it again, as a direct reply to a request this time, and it got 6 approvals, but then someone pointed out (very rudely) that all I had to do was update the old tab. At first I was confused because I never saw anything about updating GP files and I never saw an update button, but now that I knew what I was looking for I found the tiny (u!) button in the Tab page I had neglected before... And that's when I thought that maybe the other submission didn't just get rejected because of the naming, but because of it being the same song from the same tabber.

So I put the new submission on hold, updated the Guitar Pro file in the original submission, and now it's pending approval.

So, TL;DR: I was wondering if you could please change the name from "Zero Misha WIP" to just "Zero Misha" or "Zero" (it reads as "Zero: Misha" in the album track, because it's the song name and then the member of the band who exclusively wrote it, but UG doesn't seem to do colons), and I was also wondering if it's possible the change the type of song from "intro" to "whole song," because I can't seem to do it from the update submission page. I'm not sure if you'll have to wait until after the update approval comes through or if you can do it now.

Thanks in advance and sorry. :p Now I know how everything works. Probably won't submit an unfinished tab again, either.

EDIT: Looks like the update did go through, we just need the name change and to change from "intro" to "whole song"

Someone submitted a tab for an Elvis Presley song, "The Wonder of You".

I, however, was wondering why nobody else seemed to have submitted this popular song before. I checked the database and found out that people had of course, but that the name of the title was wrong. The correct title is "The Wonder of You" but the "The" is missing in the existing files.

Can you change it so that all tabs for this song appear together? Thank you!

There's a System of a Down song called A.D.D

On UG it's called Add, could the tab names be changed? I've just uploaded my version, put "A.D.D" in the song name, but in the queue it shows as Add

I made a review a few weeks ago and it is still pending aproval. The tittle of the review says Tribute ASAT Deluxe Carved top, It should be G&L ASAT Tribute Deluxe carved top.

I was sure I chose G&L as the maker, but I guess I was wrong. If one of the mods could help me out that would be great.

I submitted a lessons article 'how to tune your guitar'. That was my first time submitting an article on UG. I did not see any buttons to add image or video, so I thought it might be there in the next step. So I submitted but realised that the post is submitted in the next step. Could you please delete the article? Thanks.

Hi,
Missed that ampersand was not an allowed character when I posted the tab for Mark Lanegan's "Day & Night". Could someone please rename to Day and Night?

edit: Thank you!
And here's the new link in case anyone is interested in the song.

It is a quite old tab of me, but I only noticed this thread today. I tabbed a song by the infamous duo Simon Garfunkel, which of course should be Simon and Garfunkel . Can you fix this?

Thanks in advance!
