Hi. I've been looking into getting a looper pedal, and it seems like the Jamman solo XT fits my needs. However, I can't find anywhere if it has true bypass or not.. not even in the manual that is online. I really don't want a pedal that changes my tone when it is off so I was wondering if anyone knows whether this is true bypass or not?

No Digitech pedals are true bypass, they are all buffered.

The TC Electronics Ditto is true bypass

the new jamman express that's coming out seems to be true bypass (well it's claimed to be, which isn't always the same thing though i think the hardwires are ok)

but yeah the non-express is buffered.

bear in mind that true bypass will also change your tone when off, regardless of what anyone selling you a true bypass pedal says.
I'm an idiot and I accidentally clicked the "Remove all subscriptions" button. If it seems like I'm ignoring you, I'm not, I'm just no longer subscribed to the thread. If you quote me or do the @user thing at me, hopefully it'll notify me through my notifications and I'll get back to you.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.

I'd get the "express" xt instead. If you're only getting one switch you might as well get the cheaper single switch looper.

The Hardwire series are all TBP.
