Hello Steven here, pretty new to the UG forums. Still trying to learn the appropriate sections to post my questions. My first question is related to recording on garage band. I was wondering if there was a way to capture pinch harmonics through the garage band program. I've tried playing with different effects but every time I try to use a pinch it goes flat. Does anyone know if there is a way to capture pinch harmonics using Garageband? Thanks for your time.

You mean recording a pinch harmonic?

How are you recording your guitar?

The most basic effect to make your pinched harmonics heard is to have a decent ammount of distortion at least.
Though, if that doesn't solve, it would be good to have some more details like what and how exactly you are recording at the moment, what effects you're using and so on.
Name's Luca.

Clue: amplifiers amplify so don't turn it on if you need quiet.
