So I recently have been putting on some fatter strings and they have been popping like popcorn kernels in a fireplace. When I went to investigate the problem, I noticed my bridge is bending up quite a bit.

I can't for the life of me figure out why. They only thing I can imagine is that the fatter strings aren't falling into the grooves on the nut so that is causing it.

Any help is appreciated.

EDIT: Sorry the pictures are so large, I don't know how to make them smaller. CTRL + Mouse Wheel Down should help though.

Well I can't see your pics but if the bridge is titled forward enough the string may be breaking on the edge of the hole where it comes out of the bridge before passing over the saddle.
Moving on.....

You need to tighten the springs in the back. You have way more tension than with the new gauge so it's pulling the bridge forward. You may need to add more springs to compensate.
