And it's the one that I was sure I wanted, and sure enough, it satisfies me 100%. Exactly the sound I wanted.

Earthquaker Devices Hoof

I love this pedal because of how much dirt it has - I didn't want to get a pedal that messes around, I'm not playing music of the 70s style. I wanted a modern, heavy fuzz, and this is exactly that.

The Shift knob doesn't seem to really do that much. Neither does the Level knob for that matter.

And of course a video demo:

**** it, I give up trying to figure out how to make Youtube videos not horribly vertical like that.

sounds real big.

punk isn't dead, it's always smelled that way.

Nice choice! Been considering a Hoof myself for a while. Always sounds like it has far more girth than most other fuzzes.

And I like the word girth. GIRTH.

hoof is awesome.

and shift is basically a mids knob. all the way left is big mids, all the way right is scooped. try play around with the tone knob. those two controls are really interactive.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.

It's based on a green Russian, but with LED clippers, germanium transistors in the clipping stages, and a mid control. Lubz the Hoof.
