I have a Deluxe Player's Stratocaster and am considering replacing the neck, since I tend to find Fender's compound radius necks more comfortable than the Deluxe Player's 12" radius neck. I'd have a luthier replace the neck. What considerations would I need to make when buying a new neck? Would basically any Strat neck fit into any Strat body?

This is a neck I'm considering:

Does your guitar have a Floyd Rose? That neck is routed for a Floyd nut.

I would go to Warmoth or somewhere you can get exactly what you want.

Thanks for the replies and good info. That's cool that Fender sells necks now. I was considering one from Warmoth, but unfortunately Warmoth only seems to offer one option for a compound neck, which might not be quite what I want.

If the prices on the Fender site are the correct prices, Warmoth, Allparts, Mighty Mite all make nice necks and would be my 1st choice unless you need it to say fender.

I found Mighty Mite too, and it looks like they make some nice necks with more options than Fender and Warmoth.
