Hi guys. I was looking for the intervals for the five pentatonic modes.

For example, in the key of C

C major pentatonic mode: C,D,E,G,A = 1,2,3,5,6
D pentatonic mode: D,E,G,A,C = 1, and I don't know the rest of the intervals
E pentatonic mode: E,G,A,C,D = 1, and I don't know the rest of the intervals
G pentatonic mode: G,A,C,D,E = 1, and I don't know the rest of the intervals
A minor pentatonic: A,C,D,E,G = 1, and I don't know the rest of the intervals

As you can see I listed the notes, but not all the intervals to them. For I was hoping someone who is a little advance in theory might help me out here.

kinda working this out as i go along, so don't quote me on this

D pentatonic mode: D,E,G,A,C = 1, 2, 4, 5, b7
E pentatonic mode: E,G,A,C,D = 1, b3, 4, b6, b7
G pentatonic mode: G,A,C,D,E = 1, 2, 4, 5, 6
A minor pentatonic: A,C,D,E,G = 1, b3, 4, 5, b7
I'm an idiot and I accidentally clicked the "Remove all subscriptions" button. If it seems like I'm ignoring you, I'm not, I'm just no longer subscribed to the thread. If you quote me or do the @user thing at me, hopefully it'll notify me through my notifications and I'll get back to you.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.

Learn the intervals and you'll understand where the scale patterns come from and you don't need to ask these questions. You just have to figure out the interval between the root and the other notes (the interval between D and E, the interval between D and G and so on).

Just remember that there are no boring scales, just boring players.

Are you looking for intervals or scale degrees? And why is there only 5?
And no, Guitar Hero will not help. Even on expert. Really.
