Romantic comedies have a rep for being one of the shittiest genres. That being said, even if you hate the genre, usually there's at least one or two that are enjoyable. What do you think is the best romantic comedy.

For me, I think I'd have to say The Terminal with Tom Hanks and Catherine Zeta Jones.

Crazy Stupid Love is pretty good, i'm not into romantic comedies but I liked that one, you can't go wrong with Steve Carell and Emma Stone.
#5
Hitch cause Will Smith.

more seriously though, Lars and the Real Girl, and Princess Bride (if that counts).

Is Date Night a romantic comedy? Nah, probably not.

Go watch Date Night.

The Proposal because Ryan Reynolds

I like Ryan Reynolds as much as the next guy, maybe as much as the next woman, but that movie is terrible.

Valentines Day was actually pretty good, despite me hating 2 of the actors.

The Room.

So much emotion in a tragic telling of a doomed relationship.

The Terminal and 50 First Dates are both good. Just Go With It isn't terrible as far as rom-coms go, at least it's worth seeing for Jennifer Aniston and Brooklyn Decker in bathing suits >_>

oh, and Warm Bodies

I don't hate the genre but I feel like those kind of movies always follow a formula so much they all end up being the same. I do like sitting and watching one once in a while, one that I really liked was She's Out of My League.

Yes! That film was a big surprise, somehow it just had nearly everything you'd want in a film

Is Punch Drunk Love considered a rom-com? That was great too.

I want to see Crazy Stupid Love. I keep hearing good things about it.

If there's anyone I want dead, it's him. He should stop making movies.

This wins. The Wedding Singer is the greatest romantic comedy of all time.

Shaun of the Dead is sometimes described as a romantic comedy, but I don't agree with that description.

Well I would suggest Shaun of the Dead but that hardly counts.

I'd suggest Stranger Than Fiction as well, but that's more of a tragedy than a comedy.

The Apartment is the best romantic comedy ever made. Wit, romance, a hot dame, Jack Lemmon and gin rummy. It always cheers me up.
