I am having trouble choosing between the Godin Session and the Vintage V6. I would like to be the one that is better i.e better quality or made by a better manufacturer.

Tough choice!

Both have good reps, but I'd be inclined to think Godin edges out. As I recall, all of their guitars are made in one factory in Canada, so their QC tends to be pretty tight.

Personally, I have never handled a Vintage, but I've tried out about a half-dozen Godins. They've all been well-made and sounded good.

Why, yes, I am a lawyer- thanks for asking!

i'd have thought a godin would be a fair bit higher quality. Admittedly, that's based on trying very few godins, and not many more vintages (and none of those exact models mentioned). and not for a while, either.

If the prices are comparable I'd go with the Godin.
I'm an idiot and I accidentally clicked the "Remove all subscriptions" button. If it seems like I'm ignoring you, I'm not, I'm just no longer subscribed to the thread. If you quote me or do the @user thing at me, hopefully it'll notify me through my notifications and I'll get back to you.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.

I've never played the Vintage, but I have had some time on the Session. Very great guitars with a lot of range and possibilities. It's got "workhorse" written all over it.

They must have airbrushed that out in the pic I saw
