Hey all,

I got a question, I have the Peavey 6505 and I noticed that the little wires are close to a tube, could the tube (heat) harm the wires??

(see attach picture for what i mean if my explanation is not clear)

thnx

Those wires should be going into a small hole into the inside of the amp. You shouldn't have any problems as long as they aren't touching the tubes, which is unlikely unless someone was screwing around with it.

no one has messed around with it, and correct they go into a small hole inside amp, I just wondered if it could do any harm because it is close as you can see and tubes can become hot sometimes, but thnx 4 your opinion/anwser

Nothing I would worry about. You may lose some coloration over time (I've had this happen) but the important parts will be fine.
I'm just a kickin' and a gougin' in the mud and the blood and the beer.
