Is there anywhere a person can buy or download full drum tracks to place in to a DAW?

If not, is there anyone willing to share some? I am looking for some metal type drum tracks that I can use to write some riffs etc...

Thanks.

Search youtube.
A lot of bands have solo instrument tracks released for jamtracks or to remix as the listener sees fit.
Aside from that you could see if there are stems for sale on iTunes, or look on other sites which may not have them for 'sale'.

How would that matter? A WAV is a WAV. Some DAWs might come with usable drum samples, but beyond that, it doesn't matter much which DAW you use.

i ask cuz Logic Pro, for instance, has a program called "drummer" and based on the style of drums your'e looking for, it will develop a full drum track to fit it. there may be similar plug ins on other ones.

http://www.ultimatemetal.com/forum/backline/529782-sharing-my-collection-drum-samples-here.html and i would program them with http://www.vemberaudio.se/shortcircuit.php. Basically you drag the samples you want to use onto the keys in shortcircuit then in your DAW's midi editor you put in a note on the key assigned to the part of the drumkit you want to use. Please note that they arent actually drums loops, they are just drum samples so you would have to make the beats. I also made these loops which are pretty generic metal kind of loops: https://soundcloud.com/ryanantlitzmusic/sets/drum-loops
