Anyone know what is the difference between the Hughes & Kettner Tubemeister 18 and Tubemeister 36? Because Musicians friend is having some kind of contest right now.

I'd have to look deeper but it looks like the 36 has 2 more power tubes, 1 more preamp tube, 1 additional channel and some other features as well.

Yea.pretty much just the extra channel (Lead), the switchable reverb and fx loop, the physical size, and the wattage

doesn't the TM18 - like Blackstars - have an opamp in its signal path, meaning it isn't fully all-valve? The 36 replaces the opamp with a valve I believe.
