Hello all!
I've had my LTD MH-250NT for about 5 or 6 years now and haven't really played it properly for the last 2 or 3 due to pretty much exclusively playing my Les Paul '57 VOS.
Basically, the guitar plays and feels damn fine and even though it's no top of the line build, it seems like a waste just having it sit around.
So, I want to chuck new pups into it and maybe new tuners down the road. Any suggestions on what pickups to swap with the stock ones (EMG HZ4)?
I don't really tune down or play super high gain stuff so I'd be looking for something that's still got balls and is tight without being over the top.
If it helps, the guitar has an agathis body, maple neck and rosewood fretboard.
Any suggestions at all would be delicious.
Cheers!

Good point
Well with my band it's more vintage sounding rock tones which i have the '57 LP for, so i'm after something with a bit more modern and with a bit more balls with out being like blackouts or EMGs.
Does that help?
