I'm looking to buy a condenser mic for voice and connect it through a Behringer XENYX 802 Mixer (Something small to get the job done) then to a analog to usb box. However what I was wondering is would it be best to connect the mic first into a pre amp, or would it be okay to go directly to the mixer, it has an option for ghost power. I'm just trying to keep static to a minimum and still not spend all of my money.

If anyone can help thank you

You don't need a preamp, the mixer does that.

Didn't you say that you had a stuffed fox that you would occasionally fuck?

The mixer already has preamps, though you might consider skipping the mixer and going microphone -> interface -> computer, if your interface has preamps too.

Clue: amplifiers amplify so don't turn it on if you need quiet.
