3. Like, all. Adventure, action. comedy, 'thinkers', drama, etc. Just all film really, except slasher horror and most documentaries and histories.
4. Not often enough. Maybe once a month or so. If there were better films I'd go more.
5. I feel a lot better about it now that I'm in America. It's expensive in Europe.
5 (again?). Films at home, because of larger selection and greater convenience.
6. Cinemas have better quality and generally a better viewing experience. Sometimes, and especially more and more in recent years, the volume is too loud. Home viewing is more convenient, comfortable, and you have a larger selection of films to watch.
7. Make better films more consistently. Create more original films, rather than drawing from all the cliche's. And in the same point, focus less on trying to be 'out there' and focus more on the basics of film (acting, directing, etc). You can make a boring plot an amazing film if the actors and directing is incredible. You can't make a good plot an amazing film if the actors are rubbish and the directing is as well.

9. Yes. It wouldn't be a problem if the film was meant for 3D, but I feel like too many are 3D just for the sake of selling more expensive tickets.
10. I don't know enough to answer, sorry.

3. What are your favourite genres of film?
Drama / Crime / Sci-fi

4. How often do you go to a cinema to watch a film?
Once a week - once every 10 days

5. How do you feel about the prices of going to the cinema?
I pay half price for being under-21 here in Brazil, which is about $5-8, depending on the cinema and day of the week. Personally I think anything above $10 is not acceptable.

5. Do you prefer going to the cinema or watching films at home?
Cinema

Pro's - bigger screen, good sound, nice setting.

Hope not. Worked fairly well for The Hobbit, but outside of a fantasy setting I imagine it would be odd.

1. How old are you?

2. On a scale of 1-10 how much do you rate Film as a form of entertainment?
10. The best films are absolutely a 10/10 in terms of entertainment.

3. What are your favourite genres of film?
Generally thriller, action, sci-fi.

4. How often do you go to a cinema to watch a film?
Maybe 4-5 times a year.

5. How do you feel about the prices of going to the cinema?
Very expensive, which is why I don't go often. For the price of a cinema ticket I can usually buy maybe 5 DVDs from Amazon.

5. Do you prefer going to the cinema or watching films at home?
Well watching a film at the cinema is obviously better, but if you take price into account then watching at home.

6. Name one of your biggest Pro's and biggest Con's of watching films in a cinema.
Pros: Sound, seats, huge screen, can be social
Cons: Expensive, audience members can be dicks

7. What do you think producers can do to increase the amount of people that go to the cinema?
Not a lot to be honest.

8. Off the top of your head, name one film that relies on modern technology in order to entertain?
Avatar

9. Do you feel too many films are being produced in 3D at the moment?
Yes, it has become a gimmick that is slapped on films that do not need it in order to make more money. The only films I have seen that benefited from 3D are Avatar, Jackass 3D and I guess Kung Fu Panda 2.

10. Many feel that the future of film is the switch to 48 frames per second, your thoughts on this?
Maybe, although it certainly needs work as far as implementation goes. Yes it may have the potential to look better, but our brains are so used to watching 24 fps that it looks weird and unnatural.

Drama

Once every month or two

It's pretty expensive but you can go for fairly cheap at certain times of the day

It really depends on the type of movie

Pros: Big screen makes action scenes look really cool. I tend to get more immersed in the film since there are no distractions. Cons: Price

idk

Gravity

I don't care about the amount of 3D movies as long as there are option to still see them in 2D

I haven't done much research into this but I prefer 24 FPS. 48 makes it look like you're watching live TV or soemthing.

20.

2. On a scale of 1-10 how much do you rate Film as a form of entertainment?

10. I am a film student, after all.

3. What are your favourite genres of film?

I like everything, but if I had to pick I'd say science-fiction, indie comedies and dramas. I used to be big into horror.

4. How often do you go to a cinema to watch a film?

It used to be two or three times a month, but now I'm a poor student it's closer to once a month, if that.

5. How do you feel about the prices of going to the cinema?

Too expensive.

5. Do you prefer going to the cinema or watching films at home?

Cinema. I adore cinemas, I wish I could afford to go more often.

6. Name one of your biggest Pro's and biggest Con's of watching films in a cinema.

Pros are obviously the big screen, great sound, and that excited feeling I get when the lights go down. Cons are the other human beings that tend to be present.

7. What do you think producers can do to increase the amount of people that go to the cinema?

Make better films, perhaps?

8. Off the top of your head, name one film that relies on modern technology in order to entertain?

All the Transformers films, and they barely succeed.

9. Do you feel too many films are being produced in 3D at the moment?

Yes. It's a gimmick that comes around and disappears every 30 years or so, it'll be gone in a few years.

10. Many feel that the future of film is the switch to 48 frames per second, your thoughts on this?

I hope not. There's nothing wrong with 24fps, if it isn't broke it doesn't need fixing.

8. Off the top of your head, name one film that relies on modern technology in order to entertain?
Toy Story 3.

9. Do you feel too many films are being produced in 3D at the moment?
No. I assume you're talking about Pixar/Dreamworks films? I actually prefer 3D films. The interesting art styles appeal to me.

10. Many feel that the future of film is the switch to 48 frames per second, your thoughts on this?
Good. I play a lot of games which regularly display at 60 FPS. Movies look so slow and blurry at 24 FPS. 48 is better, but it really should be 60.

No, only one movie has been released in 48frames since it's inception. Maybe more will come out and maybe itll be the standard at some point in the future but I dont see it becoming a standard within the next decade or so.
