So I've got an ESP LTD V200 and I need to know which cleaner(s) would not ruin it. I don't need specific brand names, but if you could just tell me what WOULDN'T ruin the guitar/fretboard that'd be awesome.

It's got:

Basswood body
Maple neck
Rosewood fingerboard

if that makes a difference

Thank you!

Use products that are specifically for guitar and you'll be fine. Don't use the furniture cleaner from under the sink. Just basic common sense.

Your guitar has a poly finish, so nothing is really going to hurt it. Only nitro finishes you need to be careful with, and they're pretty much only found on Gibsons or certain high end Fenders these days.

I personally really love this stuff: http://www.musiciansfriend.com/accessories/gibson-luthiers-choice-guitar-care-triple-pak?source=3WWRWXGP&gclid=COGTn-7xn7oCFUVxQgodiBYAnA&kwid=productads-plaid^43618341644-sku^420163000000000@ADL4MF-adType^PLA-device^c-adid^30422057907

I also have the Dunlop stuff, but I always use the Gibson cleaners. I just like it. Everyone has their own preferences.
