Hi, my usual audio interface operates best at 512 buffers, but my 8-input interface (wich i use for drums), sets to 444 buffers by default and this works fine. Both records at 44.1khz , 24 bit. Will i run into any issues? 444 seems like an odd number.

444 is an odd number, but it's completely valid. You definitely won't have any issues because of it.

Nope, they don't impact the file format. What they DO cause is latency. It's generally better to record at a lower buffer rate (e.g 128 or less) and mix at a higher rate.
