Tumblr for the most part, I can't really see Twitter sticking around that long

Tumblr hopefully. Twitter'll definitely still be about, I have my doubts about Facebook though - something else will come along and it'll go the way of Bebo. I really hope UG's still here, I imagine it will though.

Youtube...all those damn commercials make me sick!

Hopefully Youtube. It's a very poor website that happens to be where everybody is. It'd be nice if the world would mutually agree that user generated video entertainment belongs somewhere else.

iTube. Oh lawd I can see it now.

I can't see Facebook going anywhere soon. It's basically got the same appeal as Google, old people understand it and only hipsters use the alternatives. As it stands Facebook and Google are basically the centre of the internet, and anything they own such as YouTube will be become a mainstay by extention. Whilst Google+ will ultimately fail in the same way Facebook would if they tried to start a search engine, these are still the only two businesses I can guarentee won't go anywhere.

Really it's harder to predict what will fail than what will succeed when it comes to the web. Everyone thought Amazon.com was going down the pipe a decade ago, and thesedays it's getting in trouble for being to big and being accussed of putting other companies out of business.

The really big ones aren't going anywhere. Facebook and YouTube will definitely stick around. Twitter I can see declining in popularity, whereas Tumblr I imagine will disappear. There's quite a lot of fads too, I don't really see things like Vine, Instagram and Snapchat sticking about. People lose interest in them too quickly.

Soon there will be only one website, it'll have everything, but mostly porn and you'll have to pay to log on.

Nah Facebook will eventually be succeeded by something better that probably doesn't exploit its users for capital gain.

UG isn't going anywhere...look at my sign up date. It's here to stay.

As for Cracked, it could go both ways. It really depends on how many/what kind of new writers take the older one's place.

Cracked.com. It's already started to get stale and the good writers will leave or start to suck (John Cheese) and lesser writers will take their place.

I disagree. Ok, there are some sucky columnists, but Cracked as a company has survived way worse, if it was able to survive being, as Do'B put it; 'the poor man's MAD magazine' then I'm sure a few crumby columnists aren't going to bring it down. They're still making some kick ass videos and there's still atleast one killer article for every ten ignorable ones, I'm sure they'll be fine.

Second Life. Because the company has so moved from the Libertarian views of it's founder, and only cares about the money. And instead of fixing existing bugs, they add new features and change the tos about ip rights and piss off artists.

I hope reddit dies, I hate the layout, I hate how unpleasant it looks, I hate it's community.

Tumblr's okay, you just have to find the right things to follow, I like comic strips.

To be honest, I think Twitter has more chance of sticking around than Facebook does.

But that may just be my ignorance doing the thinking.

It wouldn't be bad for society if Facebook (and other social networks) disappeared altogether in one day. Too bad they won't.

I can see sites like 9gag die out in a couple of years. People are getting tired of cats/pokemon-loving memes.

I'm pretty confident UG will stick around, should it not change a lot.
