Hi,

Was on holiday in Manchester and noticed there was a Squier Super Strat in the window. Plugged it in and loved the tone, feel and shape of it. Bought it then and there.

I'm curious, does anybody has anymore details on this? I seriously can't find anything on it, even tried looking up the serial number and there's nothing on it. By the looks of things, it's pretty old. It's got a cream body, a H-S-H pickup slots and has a licensed Floyd Rose tremolo.

The serial number is: E929426

Help would be greatly appreciated.

A picture's worth a thousand words.

But it's probably a Stagemaster, no?

Because that's a Stagemaster. And it pretty much fits your description perfectly.

Thanks for the responses guys.

No, it's not a stagemaster. I'm sorry, my damn phone isn't working properly so I can't take a picture.

Unlike the stagemaster, it hasn't got a pickguard or any of that other stuff. It's essentially a "Classic" super strat. It looks bloody old too, I'd say 1980s.

It's got a thin, carved body.

If it helps, this is the closest thing I've found to this model. The neck and head are pretty much the same:

It's more than likely a Suier HM (Heavy Metal) Strat.

Who the f*** goes on holiday to Manchester? That completely threw me off anything else you were saying. I could understand if you were just visiting, but going on holiday there? You crazy.
