I have an egnater renegade (18/65W output), and I'm wanting to go through a 50W cab (2 greenbacks).

This can be done if I stick to 18W's right?

Thanks in advance

yup.

if you are a bit daring you can also run your amp at it's 65 watt output setting, but you'll not want to crank the amp all the way. you can hear you speakers straining if you get too loud on 65 watts mode.

but if you just wanna play it safe then keep the amp at it's 18 watt setting.

you can always buy similer but higher power speakers. fairly certain WGS makes a high wattage greenback clone
Carvin CT624
Walden G630ce Acoustic
Carvin V3M, Avatar 2x12 WGS Reaper, vet 30
(crybaby, Fairfield circuitry Comp, GFS tuner, Vick Audio 73 Ram's Head, Xotic AC booster, lovepedal trem, TC Flashback, PGS Trinity Reverb, Walrus Audio Aetos power)

It will be fine just don't crank it at full output.

Good excuse to buy a second cab...
Shut up and play your guitar!

That's the plan, it'll be for home studio use.

Yeah, I've just got a friend trying to sell a cab with greenbacks, and he's offering it to me for pretty cheap.
