Is it the genre for shitty/lazy guitar players?

Don't get me wrong, I love listening to it, and playing it.

But do you not feel that its simple nature and limited scale usage and complexity usage, as well as abstract terms and ideas such as "feel" and "groove" constantly being used, can kinda be used as an escape route for one who is unable/uninclined to learn anything more difficult on guitar being that the fundamental techniques for it are fairly easy to learn and grasp?

My thought: Can be, often times is, but not entirely.

Yes, SRV, Kenny Wayne Shephard, Muddy Waters, Clapton, BB King, even Jimi Hendrix to an extent, all just shitty/lazy guitar players.
Well to be fair, Hendrix was never really even that good of a guitar player. Not even for the time.

Reported for using autism as an insult since I was warned for doing the same recently.

Pooping is well good though, to be fair.

I've got a handle on the fiction.

I'm losing my grip, 'cos I'm losing my fingers.
