Hi everyone. I'm brand new to the forum, though I've been lurking for a little over a month. I'm just starting back to playing after a long period of not touching a guitar, and am trying to learn a few tunes. One I've not been able to find the chords for is Shelby Lynne's "Things Are Tough All Over", and I was hoping someone on here might be able to help me with it. I've looked everywhere for it and have had absolutely no luck.

You can find it on YouTube with keyword praPLrnp1cY

I know it's pretty simple, but I'm still what I'd consider a beginner and haven't developed an ear just yet. Any help I can get with the chords on this song would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

              THINGS ARE TOUGH ALL OVER
                    SHELBY LYNNE

INTRO: (C) F G F Dm

VERSE:
   C
I can't believe your calling me
F C
Did you run out of things to do
         C
Are you bothered by old memories
F G
Has guilt got the best of you

PRE-CHORUS:
          F
I can't imagine what you'd want with me
                            C
You must have come up short tonight
           F
I thought you were happy being free
                                    G
But your voice tells me that's not right

CHORUS:
(G) F
Guess things are tough all over
G C
Even on the single side of town
                                F
I guess it's harder than you thought it be
G C
 Without my loving arms around
                             F
And now the beating of your lonely heart
                         Am
Is the cold nights only sound
                           F
Guess things are tough all over
G C C F G F Dm
When old memories get you down

VERSE:
          C
Well you ask me if I think about you
F C
What are you expecting me to say
       C
Well I do but I can live without you
F G
It's too late to ask me anyway

PRE-CHORUS:
              F
So if you're calling for sympathy
                            C
Cause I'm getting harder to forget
         F
I won't be a one night remedy
                           G
To help you live with your regret

CHORUS:
(G) F
Guess things are tough all over
G C
Even on the single side of town
                                F
I guess it's harder than you thought it be
G C
 Without my loving arms around
                             F
And now the beating of your lonely heart
                         Am
Is the cold nights only sound
                           F
Guess things are tough all over
G C
When old memories get you down

Lol...you are the second person this week to call me a hero....

I am just a geetar picker that tries to do whatever I can to make people happy... I may not always be 100% but I do try... And to me everyone on here that tries to tab songs so others can enjoy playing them is a hero.... Whether they are right or wrong...

So thanks for the compliment... I appreciate it and it makes me want to keep helping people out
