I want to sing this song for me and my girlfriend's 1-year anniversary, but I feel like I should get a second, or third, or fourth opinion on it.

Verse 1:
Today I think I figured it all out.
Today I finally found my hopes and dreams.
Today was just like any other day,
but it looks like it was different, it seems.
I did all of the usually things.
Just sat around and played my six string.
It all seemed like a perfectly normal day,
but it looks like it was different, it seems.
Chorus:
I found the one.
I found the girl.
The one who lifts me up,
and makes me feel like the king of the world.
Her beauty, makes the room shine,
she's my heart, my love, my eternal valentine.
oh, she's mine.
Verse 2:
She's funny though she doesn't think she is.
She gets embarrassed easily.
She complains about how long her hair is,
but it always looks just perfect, to me.
She's cute in ways she doesn't understand,
but she is everything a man could want her to be.
She could have, any man, but i'm sure lucky as hell,
that that man just happened to me.
Chorus
Verse 3:
Today I think I figured it all out.
Today I finally found my hopes and dreams.
Today was just like any other day,
but it looks like it was different, it seems.
Chorus

If she's an adult. . . then "girl" really isn't the best word. . . doesn't really fit the cadence either. Uh, otherwise, it's better than a fair deal of love songs. . . go for it?

Without giving too much away, we're both minors. and thank you, that's comforting to hear.

I would change the "but I'm sure lucky as hell" part to something like "I'm glad she chose me" or something like that. Other than that it's alright though

My thought... calling her a girl then referring to her being wanted by a man, seems a bit wierd and not in a good way. like should be girl/boy or woman/man, otherwise great imo.

"She could have anyone" would suffice more than "she could have any man".

"She could have anyone, but I'm glad she chose me" could work over.
