Hey guys, quick question, with SD 2.0 (NOT the upgraded 2.3.3), is there any possible way to layer or replace the snare sample? I know with 2.3.3 you can use X-drum to layer two snares together, but I cant figure out if its possible in the old 2.0 version (Im thinking its not), and if not, is there any way to use my own snare sample in replacement of the terrible stock DKFH snare haha. SD 2.0 actually has X-drum, but as far as I can tell theres no way to assign the second snare to the same key to layer it.. Please help!~

Shouldn't you just be able to upgrade your copy?

Not with the pirated copy I can almost guarantee he has.

DKFH is terrible anyway, you're better off downloading Sennhieser DrumMic'A (Which is free) and using that.

If you've bought the base sd2 then you should just be able to update it. If you can't then I'm pretty sure you're crime is also your problem. Even if we wanted to help you. We can't.

The only way I can think would be to create multiple SD instrument tracks and disable everything apart from the snare on the extra ones, then you could use different samples on the extra tracks and blend them with the original.

Thing is that would be a HUGE CPU hog, so just buy the software.

Yeah good point, my computer only has 2gigs of ram so its virtually impossible for me to use cabinet impulses as it is, I cant sample my guitar and bass tones with VST impulses until I bounce it which makes mixing and mastering a total b*tch, so I basically just use pod farm to the best of my ability.

They say modern technology works wonders for home producers.

When they say that they don't tend to mean a guy with an old computer and pirated software. General rule of this board is to shut down threads talking about piracy.

If you want help, buy the software, otherwise - take your illegal jibber-jabber elsewhere
