I currently have a 67' Princeton Reverb. Great amp, but it's a little too clean and tin sounding for my tastes. I've heard about Victoria and Tungsten amps as being solid choices. Just need something a little dirtier and warmer without it sounding completely distorted.

Victoria makes clones rigt?

I feel like you could use a brownface bassman here.

Also, have you tried an Ampeg GVT?

Clue: amplifiers amplify so don't turn it on if you need quiet.

Have you tried just sticking a boost in front of it? Princetons sound pretty tasty if you push them hard.
