Hi Ultimate Guitar,

I'm an intermediate guitarist. I've been playing for about years and my main influences stem from classic and progressive rock. Currently, my only guitar is an Epiphone Les Paul, and my only amp is a Fender MusTang. Here are my current pedals:

Dunlop Wah
Ernie Ball VP
Boss CE-5
EHX Big Muff Like

So my question is, What's next for me?

What would you like?

Get what you need, what you want or what makes you excited to play. If you're gonna be gigging in the near future, you'll probably want a bigger amp.
But boys will be boys and girls have those eyes
that'll cut you to ribbons, sometimes
and all you can do is just wait by the moon
and bleed if it's what she says you ought to do

I just bought a MXR Distortion Plus, and it is great. Definitely recommend it.

This, even if you aren't gigging I recommend a new amp down the road. I recently switched to all tube and omfg its a night and day difference. I will never play anything other then tube amps for now on. But that's just me. But, Id say a good amp will make the biggest difference in trying to get new sounds/tones.
