So far been playing it quite a bit. Thought I gotta say the POD HD has some really sweet tones with some work, the kemper just gives me that something I missed from my amps. I added the bugera profile and I feel I may sell the Bugera, and Soldano hehe. Its really that good. I bought it to replace my amps and pedals live and for recording, however I still think Im keeping some pedals. If it wasn't for the hassle of analog pedals, I would totally keep all my pedals.

Anyways here it is

uh, maybe a little real soldano and kemper-emulated soldano clips?

been wanting to try one of these kemper units.

I have no way of recording the tone properly at home due to volume reasons. Part of why the Kemper seemed a great idea hehe, other than letting me simplify my rig. With that said, I saw this video on youtube which includes AB comparison at around 1:45 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ErZfk5sz82A.

With that said, it had always been real amp live, and POD HD on the jamhub sessions at home. The Kemper is the first to give me what I always missed in the POD HD. Its a small difference, but in my opinion worth every penny. True dynamic control a la using a real amp. The only amp I may end up keeping is the Evans. That one I doub't the Kemper will be able to fully capture, plus I have no way of profiling it properly

Highly recommend it.

Sweet. Keep the Soldano, you'll kick yourself later.

See, it's important that people clarify when they say "metal", because I pretty much always assume they are a Cannibal Corpse fanboi.

Im actually more in doubt of selling the bugera. Its my fave. Then again the kemper nails it.

Nice, but you'd have thought they would have made it more visually appealing, because it is an ugly piece of gear

I actually think it looks pretty cool. I'll agree, I thought it looked weird before I got mine, but now that I have it, it looks pretty sweet on top of my rack. Definitely a conversation starter!

I'm an idiot and I accidentally clicked the "Remove all subscriptions" button. If it seems like I'm ignoring you, I'm not, I'm just no longer subscribed to the thread. If you quote me or do the @user thing at me, hopefully it'll notify me through my notifications and I'll get back to you.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.

Don't sell your amps before trying the Kemper on a live setting. A friend of mine owns the Kemper and still uses his SLO or XTC for gigs.

Get Lasse Lamberts rig pack. Deff the best high gain profiles I've heard.

Weird, cause I'd describe an Uberschall as much more dark and muddy than a vh4....
