I like you ^

Psychedelic is my favorite genre. Tame Impala is great.
Also check out the Holy Drug Couple for newer stuff.
If you are going old school, I enjoy the Blues Magoos.

For newer psychedelic rock check out Tame Impala. Excellent trippy videos and groovy hard rock. They have many good songs. Mind Mischief is a good one as well as Elephant, Ludicity, ahh soo many you must check them out.

Need to add a little Dead meadow into this equation, vocals can be hit or miss for a lot of folk. But I think it fits the vibe fairly well.

They're a relatively unknown band out of Chile, with a sound semi-close to Tame Impala. Pretty laid back and spacey, lots of phaser and delay. I really enjoy them. Here's a few songs of theirs

Steven Wilson is Porcupine Tree's front man. His two most recent solo albums are very influenced by king crimson.

This one isn't

This group is pretty interesting, there early stuff is pure psychedelic trance but they branch out into a lot of other genres, and perform live as a rock band quite often.

King Crimson:

Couldn't pick a single song. Very good psychedelic prog.

Tame Impala is sooo boring. They're only semi-decent if you're baked out of your mind or have sustained brain damage somehow.
