Hello, arrived to my hand an old guitar, the person who gave it to me claimed it Ibanez Les Paul mij 1976. The problem is that there is no write on the guitar, no name, symbol or serial number. Not under the pickups too. the person claimed that maybe the writing erased with time.

My questions are, is indeed the inscription could be erased with this model?

If so, how can I be sure that this guitar is original ibanez?

Look for the color and the maple top... is this a vintage Ibanez?

thank you.

The answer is that people who can’t figure out how to use Google will believe that an old unmarked junk guitar is a rare Ibanez lawsuit guitar.

Take the neck off and see if there is anything written in the pocket or on the heel. I'm thinking it's just a run of the mill LP copy. The paint on the headstock is too clean to have once had a logo that wore off with time.
