Good deal? I was looking at getting a Mesa Boogie Mark 5 for $2300 but this seems too good to pass up. Thoughts?

Thanks.

If you want a mark, I would not get the recto. Don't get me wrong, rectos are great amps but to me are completely different tones

Well its going to be a step up from my Engl regardless. I would like some good clean tones along with some awesome mid-high gain tones as well.

Eh. $900 is pretty average. I've bought them as cheap as $700. Is it a 2 or 3 channel? Unless its a 3 channel, made after 2010 or an older 2 channel, I'd pass.

$900 for a dual rec!?!? That's half the price of one in the UK. I didn't realise the difference was that large.

This is exactly what I was gonna say. I bought a Triple Rectifier and Avatar cab for $600 last year, now THAT is a deal too good to pass up

Yeah, passing on the Dual Rec. Now, to justify spending $2300 plus tax on a Mark 5...
