Hey, I'm considering buying a fuzz face (the mini germanium one) but I don't know much about them. I read that with germanium pedals, the sound isn't always consistent (due to overheating I think it said). Is that likely to be a problem? About 99% of the time I'm playing inside, in temperature-regulated environments. So would I only run into those inconsistencies when playing outside? Or could it overheat due to excessive use?

I'm playing an MIJ Fender Jazzmaster through a Hot Rod DeVille, and the stuff I'm playing is along the lines of Pavement and the fuzzier Deerhunter material. I would be using it for home recording and gigging. I'm fairly certain I like the way the pedal sounds, am I likely to run into problems with it though? I attached a link to the pedal below. Thanks
