Now that I think about it, the piano is a string instrument; I reckon piano tabs would look a little bit like this:

A#------------------
B-------------------
C-------------------
C#------------------
D-------------------
D#------------------
E--------------------
F----------------------
F#--------------------
G----------------------
G#-----------------------
A---------------------

F#--------------------
G--------------------

C----------0-------

D-------------------
D#------------------
E----------0---------
F----------------------
F#--------------------
G----------0----------

E---------------------
F----------------------
F#--------------------
G----------------------
G#-----------------------

C#------------------
D-------------------
D#------------------
E---------------------
F----------------------
F#--------------------
G----------------------
G#-----------------------

etc.

.. You know, 12 strings for every octave. Does this seem like an easier thing to read then standard notation?

I think you may be onto something here.

EDIT: Yeah I think I messed it up. My bad
