What scale do most punk bands use to write riffs and solos? Im really into bands like No use for a Name, Nofx, Blink 182 (buddha-Enema), Pennywise.

Sorry, Never taken a guitar lesson, just learned mostly by tabs and Im wanting to learn some theory behind those tabs. So what scale do you recommend for me to learn, according to the style of music I like?

Thanks!

Learn theory properly; just telling you the name of a scale won't help you very much when all is said and done.

Already starting to understand! Thanks for the help! The guy teaches everything pretty well, and makes it easy to understand. I wish I would have known about these videos a year ago ha
