Right now I'm thinking about two options

1. Guitar --> Line 6 Pod Studio UX1 --> Computer

2. Guitar --> Boss ME-70 --> Focusrite 2i2 --> Computer

Reason that I want to consider Pod Studio UX1 is for Pod Farm.
Its seems that a lot of people get good tones out of it.
Or should I just stick with me ME-70 and plug that in to a interface like Forcusrite 2i2

I'm only recording guitar. no mic. no drum.
So is there any cheaper but still quality alternate to 2i2 ?

No.

If you feel you'll want to expand to micing an amp in the future then go for the Focusrite. If not then you may as well get the Line 6.

I guess my question is will recording sound better if I use Pod Farm for effects or
will using my Boss ME-70 be better ?

Let's put it this way.

Neither will be great.
