Is there a mod to disable the pickup selector switch on a Les Paul, so the bridge pickup is the only one working no matter what position the switch is in, with a flick of an extra switch? So when the extra switch is off, the selector works as normal?
Sure, just put a SPDT switch between the pickup switch and the output jack. Take the output from the pickup selector and connect it to one input on the switch and a jumper from the bridge pickup hot wire on the other, and the output of the SPDT goes to the output jack.

Just wondering - why?
Thanks, just to be sure this will definitely work?
The way I play, I'd often hit the selector switch while playing a song, and I usually have the neck pickup volume rolled off a good bit, so it ruins the song when I'm playing at school concerts and such
