Hey guys, I have an old Indiana telecaster, it was my first electric guitar, it plays and sounds alright, but definitely not something I try to play very often. However I'd like to change that. I'd like to throw in a hot bridge pickup, change the pots, new bridge, tuners, neck. All the goods. How ever if its gonna cost 400 bucks and come out sounding worse than a MIM tele I might as well just buy a MIM.

I can do all the work myself so labor isn't an issue, but what should I do?
