Hey Guys, I posted this on the "Guitar Gear and Accessories" thread and "trashedlostfdup" recommended that I re-post this in the "Acoustic & Classical Guitar" thread.

So my action is a little too high on my Tanglewood Evolution TW28 CSN CE. I have tried many different sized Allen keys but to no avail. I contacted the Australia Tanglewood distributors and they sent me one that they said would fit. It didn't... it was too small.

I cannot find the information on the Tanglewood website or anywhere on the internet so if anyone has an idea of what size the Allen key would be, it would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Also if anyone could tell me how to delete my first post of this?

so you need a truss rod wrench? you'd think tanglewood would know the size they use, but if you can measure it, you can buy one

btw, you don't use the truss rod to adjust the action - it's there to adjust the neck relief. this is the reason that martin actually doesn't include truss rod wrenches, as they don't want customers using the truss rod to mess up their neck relief if the action changes. think about it - what you're doing is curving the neck more or less. btw, if your guitar's action has changed, you might want to address the humidity where you keep it in your house.

I just looked in my Oxford English Dictionary and under "Acoustic Guitar", there was your Avatar and an email address!

Hey alangton1997,

Turns out I have the same guitar and problem. I bought a 10 pc hex key wrench set for $2.50 at a dollar store and through trial and error, found that the 9/64" was a perfect fit.

I know I'm two years late, but I hope this helps anyway.

All the best!
