Have 1000 USD to spend on upgrades to my
rig. Amp is Peavey Ultra plus 4x10, Guitars are
main Warmoth explorer emg het set, Backups
Gibson standard stock, and Gibson studio black winter
set. Many different pedals mainly of the od nature. I'm
just looking for a good addition whether its new amp,axe etc.
I play mainly metal all styles but venture elsewhere too.

seems like you need to be a little more focused on what you need. don't just buy a random item just cuz. this often leads to disappointment. I'd ask myself what is lacking or could be better for my sound and then go with that after some research.
#5
Idea: maybe look into setting up your own recording studio? Buy an audio interface, SM57 mic, MIDI keyboard and get a DAW to run into. Then some monitors or headphones to mix with.

For me, i'm prioritizing recording gear over guitar gear as I feel I have a decent enough setup, and it sounds like you do as well.
#6
I've got a zoom R16 mixer and a SM57. Get some decent recordings with that. Recording gear can help you quite a bit

What speakers are in it? You could upgrade those.
RG351DX - Bridge Dragonfire Screamer, Mid+Neck Fender Hot Noiseless
Peavey Valveking 112 - Eminence GB128
AMT E1 > Joyo AC Tone > Dan'o EQ > Shimverb > Digidelay

10" peavey blue marvels and I've been looking at grabbing a eq
did the cheap plastic eq to see if I needed one and I do so mxr
10 band is in. What about a used eleven rack for home use?
#9
How about converting that 4x10 into a head and cab, if that's something you're comfortable with? 10" speakers aren't typically favoured for that kind of music, blue marvels aren't great and that combo must be a heavy old lump!

I think you'd like a head + 2x12 or 4x12 setup.

Otherwise, yeah, think about what you want, can't usually go wrong with a good EQ, OD and delay.
#10
Yes it is super heavy sucks as I have
lots of stairs. I've given the conversion
thought and I use a 2x12 at practice so
I wouldn't need to buy one. The tens work
for low volume home practice but don't do
good at gig volume level.

Go here www.guitarcenter.com/usedgear and get either a Mesa Recto 4x12 or a Marshall MF280 4x12. They are awesome 4x12's and for the price the MF280 is the better deal , there was one for $299 +$40ish S&H the other day. Grab it you won't be sorry. Then you have the rest of the money to do what ever. You can even get a New Krank Rev or Kstein for $599 brand new with lifetime warranty from www.krankamps.com

Just sayin

Sounds like you have decent guitars and amps, enough speakers to blow out a few windows and a nice bit of distortion - hell yeah. Maybe consider the TC Electronic G System? Will add a whole arsenal of awesome effects to your sound. Combined with your other gear, you'll have something for almost everything.

If that's not to your taste/a bit expensive, I'd still recommend effects. That budget should get you some damn good Delay, Wah, Tube Screamer, EQ and Volume pedals (just examples, but all would be incredibly useful). Hope that helps!
I was bad with usernames at age 12. Ah woe.

Personally:

I would sell that amp in a heartbeat for something, almost anything else. 4x10 combos simply should not exist - they're basically antique furniture.

Your budget is ample for a nice half or quarter stack setup, or a nice 112 combo if you want that instead.

Of course we'll be needing to know this stuff so we can basically start from scratch... https://www.ultimate-guitar.com/forum/showpost.php?p=25873058&postcount=1

The right tubes make a big difference in those. What are in it now?

And buy a good trolley/handcart. That is how I cope with my amp which is far heavier than yours.

Bands I'd like to get close to in sound
would be Machine head, Sepultura, Six ft under,
Fear factory. I've got new JJ 6l6's in now and JJ pre amps.
Thought about the hand cart as well. Loopers is getting to
far away from what I want which is a pretty simple 6 pedal
tops rhythm metal rig I play some lead but love tearing up
the rhythm spot.

I think you'd be really happy with a 6505+ head.

Look for a used Peavey 5150 II (same exact amp as the 6505+, but usually $100-200 cheaper), and a good 412 (sometimes you can find used Mesa Stiletto or Rectifier cabs for $400. You can also score Marshall 1960 cabs for around $350 any day of the week. Try one before you buy if you can, they have G12T75 speakers instead of V30s, and they have quite a different character, a mid scoop instead of a mid hump. Both speakers are excellent IMO, it's just about finding out what your preference is).
