Suddenly my string become very very tight, i didnt mess up with my guitar before, i just change the bridge height several times, and tomorrow when i tune up my guitar after changing the bridge height, it becomes very tight and my 1st string broke down. Could anybody help me??
New strings, they're not expensive enough to make enough of a fuss.

Great thread! I'm curious of what to do if a string breaks too. I'd guess you'll need a new guitar.

Edit: sorry for the ignorant cynicism. Good luck.

Maybe you are tuning in a higher octave range. The guitars low E should be in the second octave and the high E in the 4th.
