Hi, i have this fender strat with a black body, neck, head and a dark brown blackish fretboard. It says made USA. I cant also find a serial number.

Please help me identify the model or whether it's legit or not, because im planning to sell it.

The SN will be found in the neck cavity. You would have to remove the neck.

no that would be the date it was made. the serial number is either on the front or the back of the headstock for post 85 strats. older models had it on the neck plate.

Get the serial number and email to fender consumer relations they'll tell you everything, if there is no serial number you may have a fake.
song stuck in my head today

If there is no serial number it is possible that the guitar has been modified in some way or another... refinished, different neck, or maybe isn't even a real Fender. No way of telling based on the description you are giving. Where did you get it?
