I'm not convinced there's any difference at all, especially with that sterile sounding distortion.

With a clean amp and a comparison between a metal alloy, nylon and timber-based materials I'd probably hear something, however minute.

I've been using Clayton S-Stone 2.50 picks. I really like the tone and the grip is excellent.

Man, you guys stress way too hard over picks. They're just picks ffs. Find one that feels right in your fingers and just play. I've played gigs with clips off a bag of bread.
