What the heck -- how long are guitar names going to get? I mean, it's bound to be renamed the Bad Ass Rob Flynn (BARF) guitar, just so that people can refer to it more quickly.

I haven't seen one of these yet, sorry. Is this for your worship group?

27" scale is just barely at the "baritone" level. There's a guy named Jim Soloway who's been building guitars using a 27" scale with the strings tuned to standard -- piano like low-end tones for his jazz work.

I do agree the name is ridiculous : P Had to check it 3 times to write it right in the thread title.

The guitar would be playing some low-tuned bands at home, something cheap, but with good pickups.

I'm playing a 28 5/8" scale Agile 7 string and it's killing my fingers. That's why I'm after a shorter scale and a thinner neck. I won't be tuning lower than B standard so i don't need any longer scale.

I know Amon Amarth use 24.75" guitars for their B standard tuning, so everything goes i guess.

I think this is one of the few cases where artist actually uses the signature guitar he endorses (google around, you'll see Robb playing Epiphone like this live. Though it could be custom) so I doubt it would be pure rubbish.

It's an interesting guitar. It looks way too garish and 'signature' though. Even a person who knows almost nothing about guitars could tell it's a sig.

On that I agree. If Epi would make a guitar based on this but with more conservative looks I would get one on the spot. Baritone flying V, hot damn...
