Most likely. A lot of clubs and bars also mike the amp so shouldnt be a problem.

Crate?

either way 120 watt amp is fine for most situations.

I'm assuming it is a solid state. If you like the sound it gets then it should be okay. I gigged a few times with a Crate FXT120 and as long as the club provided mics and a PA I got by just fine. If you're in a small place that doesn't use mics then you might get overpowered depending on how many guitarists your band has, what amps they use, and how loud your drummer plays.

The problem I ran into was that I really wasn't fond of the tone coming out of the solid state if I had to crank it up (which happened frequently with 2 other guitarists in the band and a hard hitting drummer) and the amp would feedback easily if it was pushed much past 12 o'clock, so I recently invested in a 40 watt tube amp.

120 should be fine for small gigs.

it helps if you put it on an amp stand or milk crates or something. at least a little bit anyway. i've used a 1x15/2x8 60's Sano tube combo live against a loud as piss Sunn amp and it was loud enough, but just barely. putting it on milk crates made a difference. it really depends on the amp though. in most situations, you should be fine like everyone said, especially with the amp mic'd

what amp are you using though?

Depends on the amp.

I play with a Vox AC30 and a 2x12 and its loud enough for any bar or club around here.
But the AC30 is VERY loud for a 30 watt amp.

This question is best suited for here though : https://www.ultimate-guitar.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=33
